Through its Research and Development process, BriSol brings together engineers, designers, architects, materials scientists and computer scientists to conduct fundamental research, target industrial applications and educate future design and manufacturing innovators. Research by Brisol and its partners expands the design and manufacturing boundaries by:
1. Creation of computer modeling and design capabilities that allow designers to use the new design windows available through digital manufacturing technologies and create previously unavailable products;
2. Creation of innovative production technologies based on the digital fusion of sensory, additive and subtractive processes, as well as new ideas in multi-scale, multi-material and multifunctional production; and
3. Integration of the above into digital workflows to change the way new products are created.
Our team has experience in scientific research at the European level, which was funded by government organizations of the EU countries.
